This is the only photo I have of Ida May Montgomery Austin. She is the daughter of Theodore Jonas Montgomery and Sarah Jane Hicks. Wife of John Samuel Austin and mother of seven boys and one girl.
Born 1 July 1881 in Shelly County, Missouri. Died 21 January 1966 in San Antonio, Bexar, Texas at the age of 84.
[Photo from my private collection. Date and place of photo is unknown. Developers stamp reads "Jun 27, 1941 - Hammond..Porterville, California" . Since this was from my grandmothers collection, it is possible that the photo was taken in Texas on a family trip and developed when they returned to California.]
